Job summary

Kikkoman is seeking a Working Leader to oversee production assignments, train operators, and safeguard safety within a high-temperature, high-humidity food manufacturing environment. This role requires coordinating with the foreman to maintain schedules and maximize throughput.

The candidate should have 3+ years in food manufacturing, be highly detail oriented, and able to operate/basic mechanical equipment. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assign and check work as directed by the foreman in each area.

• During off shifts, ensure plant safety and supervise support staff as needed.
• If needed, assume foreman duties in their absence.

Summary:Under the direction of the foreman, the working leader is responsible for assigning, instructing and checking work as delegated by the foreman in each area.Duties and Responsibilities:Working from detail production schedules, make sure each work assignment is properly manned.
