Job summary

Accelevation is seeking a Welder in Miamisburg, OH to fabricate, assemble and repair metal structures using welding techniques per blueprints and specifications. You will set up parts, operate tools, and ensure quality while maintaining safety standards.

You will read drawings, interpret welding symbols, and perform cutting, grinding, and finishing tasks. A GED or HS diploma and 6 months of welding experience are preferred; strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent
• 6 months+ hands-on experience in welding and fabrication
• Proficient in welding safety and process parameters
• Familiarity with metallurgy and weld joints analysis
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Plan work procedures and prepare tools and materials as instructed.
• Fabricate, weld, cut, grind, and finish metal parts per specifications.
• Monitor welding process to avoid overheating, warping, or distortion.
• Prepare, assemble and tack weld parts for welding operations.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and report equipment issues.
