Accelevation is seeking a Machine Operator, Metals - 1st Shift (M-Th 6am-4:30pm) in Miamisburg, OH. You will convert steel into precision components for remote power panels, supporting data center power distribution.

Responsibilities include setting up and running machines, inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers, and coordinating with downstream assembly. Safety and accuracy are emphasized in a fast-paced fabrication setting.

Qualifications

• Tube laser operator experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction environment.
• Must be comfortable lifting heavy material and performing hands-on tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor machines to cut and shape metal components for the metals department with precision and efficiency.
• Utilize industrial machinery to cut, form, and prepare materials, ensuring components meet exact specifications for downstream assembly.
• Safely load, unload, and position large-format metal tubes and struts using forklifts to maintain smooth production flow.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify parts align with drawings and data center power requirements.
• Sort and stage finished components by job number to support efficient assembly operations and maintain workflow continuity.
• Conduct routine machine checks, including nozzle cleaning, lens inspection, and assist with gas cylinder changeouts to ensure consistent machine performance.
• Maintain high standards of precision and productivity to support manufacturing output and minimize downtime in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
• Accurately record material usage, machine activity, and cut sheet completion to support inventory tracking and production planning.
