Job summary

Pyrotek in Ohio is seeking a Welder on second shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM) to modify, fabricate and repair metal parts for molten metal jet pumps, following blueprints and quality standards.

You will set up equipment, weld MIG and TIG, inspect welds, complete records, and maintain safety while working with forklift and various tools. Requires HS diploma and 3 years welding, plus certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years welding experience.
• Welding certification from a technical school preferred.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up, lay out, and fit welding assignments per blueprints.
• Select welding method and equipment per job requirements.
• Safely operate forklift and handle materials as needed.
• Inspect welds for quality and tolerances; complete records.
• Maintain safety standards and proper barcode tracking.
