Job summary

Gtrjobs in Ohio is seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators for full-time positions across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. You will fabricate and weld metal components according to work instructions, drawings, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Candidates should have welding or fabrication experience, be able to read drawings and blueprints, operate welding equipment, maintain quality, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions, and basic blueprints.
• Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safe welding practices.
• Ability to inspect completed work and identify quality issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld metal components according to job specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment.
• Produce quality welds while maintaining required production standards.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy.
• Perform leak testing on applicable tanks and components.
• Identify welding or fabrication defects and assist with troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete assigned work efficiently to meet daily production requirements.
• Perform additional fabrication or production duties as assigned.
