Daikin Applied in Staunton, VA is hiring for a fabrication specialist on the 2nd shift. Starting wage is $28.00 per hour with a $2.30 shift differential.

You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, operate fabrication tools, and apply various welding techniques to produce chiller components. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or 2 years manufacturing experience, the ability to lift and stand, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 2 years related experience.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read/write and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Read, interpret, understand, and work from blueprints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, labor summaries, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction.
• Operate various tools and equipment used in the fabrication, handling, manipulation and movement of Chiller Product and various welding techniques.
• Perform within and have working knowledge of ASME Code regulations.
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality of product and conformity to prints, work instructions and standards.
• Maintain required records.
