Job summary

Daikin Applied is hiring for a 2nd shift manufacturing position in Faribault, MN. Starting wage is $31.04/hr plus $2.30/hr shift differential for 2nd shift, with a 5pm-3:30am Mon-Thu or a weekend Fri-Sun option. Role involves assembling sheet metal components, reading drawings, and using hand tools in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull materials and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• Use of hand tools and fixtures in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED or 2+ years manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble unit content per BOM and engineering drawings.
• Align and position parts using jigs, vices, and tools.
• Clean and finish parts to meet quality standards.
• Interpret wiring schematics and complete training/certifications.
• Operate PIT trucks and obtain PIT License.
• Train new team members on machines and safety processes.
• Maintain 5S workspace and follow safety guidelines.
• Identify and rework defective parts to quality standards.
