Job summary

Daikin Applied, located in Staunton, VA, is seeking a production/assembly professional for 2nd shift. You will read blueprints, operate fabrication and welding equipment, and ensure quality by measuring and inspecting parts to prints. A HS diploma or GED or 2 years related experience is required.

The role includes a climatically controlled facility, PTO/holidays, and growth opportunities with company match and tuition reimbursement. Shift: Mon-Fri, 1:50 pm - 9:50 pm, with 2nd shift differential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, BOMs, routing sheets and work instructions.
• Work with ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.
• Operate tools and equipment for fabrication and welding of chillers.
• Maintain knowledge of ASME Code regulations.
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics and routing sheets.
• Work with ferrous, non-ferrous and alloy materials.
• Operate tools and equipment used in fabrication and welding of Chiller Product.
• Perform within ASME Code regulations.
• Use measuring devices to ensure quality and conform to prints.
• Maintain required records.
