Job Description

The job description for a 2nd shift Fabricator-Welder typically includes the following responsibilities and skills:

1. Welding and Fabrication: Join heavy steel components using GMAW-P and GTAW welding processes with ER307 stainless steel filler material.
2. Quality Control: Ensure the quality and safety of products by welding and fabricating metal components, interpreting blueprints and schematics, and performing quality control checks.
3. Physical Demands: Perform mostly standing work with occasional movement throughout the facility to transfer or deliver parts. Constant use of hands/fingers to handle and control welding equipment. Frequent lifting and/or pushing up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting and/or pushing up to 80 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, and stooping.
4. Safety and Compliance: Work in a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety rules, and following procedures for Welder Performance Qualification Testing.
