Job summary

Auburn Public Schools is seeking a 2nd Shift/Custodian and Weekend Custodian to maintain clean and safe facilities. The positions include evening and weekend hours with a combined schedule across weekday and weekend days.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; six months custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential custodial duties safely and reliably.
• Must pass safety guidelines for handling chemicals and bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, dust and clean classrooms and administrative spaces.
• Wash windows, walls, floors and furnishings.
• Operate vacuums, floor machines, buffers and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Move and arrange furnishings and transport educational supplies.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and safety standards.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; occasionally lift more than 100 pounds.
