Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Worker in Libertyville, IL. This hands-on role involves picking, packing, receiving, and inventory control in a clean, tech-driven environment.

You will support production and direct-to-customer shipments, with cross-training across tasks and periods of overtime and occasional Saturdays, especially toward month end. The position offers first and second shift options and requires operating a stand-up reach truck and RF scanners in accordance with OSHA and quality

Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

This role is a hands-on warehouse position in a clean, technology-driven environment where you will be cross-trained across picking, packaging, and receiving. You will support both production and direct-to-customer shipments by accurately handling materials, verifying orders, and maintaining inventory. The position offers first and second shift options, occasional weekly overtime, and periodic Saturday work, especially toward the end of the month.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials received against purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy of incoming orders.

• Accurately pick, break down, and quality check orders for production in a timely manner.

• Pick and prepare orders that ship directly to customers, ensuring correct items and quantities.

• Prepare skids for freight shipments, including wrapping and strapping to secure loads.

• Stock bins and shelves with parts from receiving carts, the receiving area, and return-to-stock shelves.

• Package systems and parts for shipping, following established quality control standards.

• Check in returned materials, including RMA (Return Material Authorization) and RTV (Return to Vendor) items.

• Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.

• Ensure products are received from vendors in a timely and accurate manner.

• Operate a stand-up reach truck and other class 5 forklifts in accordance with OSHA requirements, when needed.

• Complete semi-annual inventories and conduct weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

• Use RF scanners and computer systems to locate, pick, track, and label orders.

• Print and apply labels accurately, including reading very small printed labels.

• Contribute actively to monthly meetings by sharing ideas and participating in discussions.

• Follow all warehouse safety, quality, and organizational procedures to keep the facility clean and efficient.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LIBERTYVILLE, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
