Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for 2nd shift, based in Harvey, IL. You will manage distribution functions, safety programs, shipping/receiving, and inventory for a unionized team of 15–25 colleagues, leading continuous improvement and KPI initiatives.

Responsibilities include coordinating dock activities, optimizing transportation, and enforcing lean practices. A 3+ year background in high-volume DC supervision and JD Edwards experience are desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years supervising in a high-volume distribution center.
• Experience with WMS and scanning systems; JD Edwards preferred.
• Track record of safety metrics improvement and process Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations including distribution, warehouse, and fulfillment.
• Plan dock activity and carrier loading for various transportation modes.
• Manage controllable expenses to meet shift financial objectives.
• Develop safety culture and ensure safety programs are current.
• Drive improvements to standard work and service factors.
• Uphold Atkore core values in daily activities.
