Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Harvey, IL. You will lead a unionized team of 15–25 associates, oversee receiving, picking, shipping, and inventory control, and drive safety and process improvements in a high-volume distribution center.

The role reports to the Distribution Manager and requires strong leadership, experience with WMS and JD Edwards, and a track record of Lean/Kaizen activity. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume distribution center in a supervisory role.
• Experience with WMS and Scanning Systems; JD Edwards preferred.
• Experience participating in cross functional Kaizen and Lean events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee distribution, warehouse, and fulfillment operations on 2nd shift while maintaining standard work.
• Coordinate docks activities and carrier loading for various transport modes.
• Manage shift expenses to meet financial objectives.
• Develop and enforce safety programs and a strong safety culture.
• Drive process improvements to improve on-time delivery and service factors.
