Job summary

Peterson-Farms, Inc. in DeLand, FL is seeking a Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift (6pm-6am) and oversee all warehouse and shipping activities, ensuring accurate inventory, efficient workflow, and timely movement of finished goods.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate shipments with Production, Logistics, and Customer Service, verify orders and documents, maintain safety and compliance, and generate reports as required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation and certification (or ability to obtain).
• 2–3 years of warehouse or logistics experience; supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, staging, and loading of outbound shipments.
• Verify shipping orders, documentation, and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of bills of lading, shipping labels, and carrier paperwork.
• Coordinate daily shipping schedules with Production, Logistics, and Customer Service teams.
• Supervise receiving, storage, and movement of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure products are properly identified, labeled, and stored according to company standards.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and efficient layout.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
