Job summary

DCL Logistics in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor (2nd shift) to oversee daily operations, lead a team of associates, and ensure safety and accuracy while meeting customer SLAs.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in distribution or 3PL, proficiency with WMS and logistics software, and ability to train staff. ISO 9001/14001 and OSHA standards awareness preferred; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution or 3PL Logistics environment is required.
• Experience operating Crown Material Handling Equipment such as Forklift, Stand Up Reach, Cherry Picker, Pallet Jack is required.
• B2B and B2C Operations experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day Warehouse Department operations including RMA and VAS functions.
• Provide effective leadership and guidance to warehouse staff to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
• Develop and execute daily operational plans to meet or exceed productivity and service level goals in accordance with Customer specific SLAs and KPIs.
• Monitor and maintain operational reports and metrics to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct training and cross-training for new and existing employees.
• Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and other logistics software to track and manage performance.
• Conduct daily team meetings, performance check-ins, and support employee recognition initiatives to foster a positive and communicative work environment.
• Promote and enforce health and safety protocols, reinforcing a culture of safety throughout the facility in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Adheres to 5S Standards and continuously look for process improvement opportunities and assist in implementation.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
• Perform other job responsibilities, as necessary and/or assigned.
