Ryder System, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily logistics operations, ensure safety and accuracy, and drive customer KPI performance.

You will coach teams, schedule work, implement health and safety initiatives, and partner with the Logistics Manager and customer to optimize processes. Exempt salary of $70,000 with 10% annual bonus eligibility.

Formación

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 0 to 1 year in direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• 1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review with the Logistics Manager all logistics processes to meet standards.
• Establish work schedules and procedures; coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift performance.
• Accountable for site KPI and customer service specifications.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Meet regularly with team members to monitor progress and coach performance.
• Promote Diversity & Inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend rewards or merit increases.
• Address performance issues through corrective action and safety policies.
• Implement health & safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company rules.
• Provide orientation for employees and Lead Hands to perform their jobs.
