Job summary

Maersk is seeking a warehouse supervisor to oversee activities in stockroom and warehouse operations, coordinating orders, shipments, and staffing to meet customer metrics. The role emphasizes payroll oversight, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers in stockroom, warehouse or yard.
• Plans inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Reviews and updates procedures; communicates to warehouse staff.
• Manages payroll of department and ensures safety procedures are followed.
• Traces inventory discrepancies and resolves issues; maintains harmony; resolves grievances.
