Job summary

Hayes Company in Forney, TX is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee a busy 3PL warehouse. The role focuses on leadership, safety, and process improvements to ensure efficient order fulfillment and client satisfaction.

The candidate will manage daily operations, tune performance against KPIs, and lead a team through scheduling, training, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in warehouse or 3PL management; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to coach and develop staff.
• Familiar with WMS and barcode scanning technology and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities: receiving, picking, packing, shipping.
• Supervise, train, coach and motivate warehouse associates toward goals.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
• Monitor KPIs (order accuracy, shipping times, productivity) and act on gaps.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly operational reports.
