Job summary

CS Recruiting in Frederickson, WA, seeks a 2nd Shift Warehouse Operations Manager to lead safety, quality, and efficiency targets across operations. You will direct staff, coordinate with shifts, and implement policy and process improvements to meet customer service and productivity goals.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of progressive warehouse leadership, familiarity with Six Sigma/Lean, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work alternative schedules and develop supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive warehouse leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles; Green Belt preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn WMS quickly.
• Ability to work alternate schedules and communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates operational activities to meet safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
• Communicates proactively with shifts and departments to align priorities and handoffs.
• Evaluates staffing levels to meet service and cost objectives.
• Develops supervisory staff to maximize effectiveness and promotion potential.
• Conducts performance evaluations and administers follow‑up actions as needed.
• Ensures adherence to SOPs, policies, and procedures across the operation.
• Drives continuous improvement across warehouse systems and processes.
• Monitors quality-control and damage-reduction efforts.
