Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily inbound/outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, replenishment, order selection, loading, and adherence to policies and safety regulations. You will direct Supervisors and associates, set priorities, and manage assets to support efficient service levels.

The role requires 5-7 years of warehousing operations management, OSHA familiarity, and strong budgeting and leadership abilities to drive cost efficiency and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or 10+ years’ equivalent education and experience.
• 5-7 years of related operations and management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Must be familiar with OSHA regulations
• Strong understanding of budgeting and the ability to interrupt P&Ls.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily workload and safety of Warehouse Supervisors and associates.
• Review and set priorities to ensure orders are correct, complete and leave on time to ensure excellent customer service.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure upgrades and repairs are completed efficiently.
• Establish and implement processes to efficiently meet inventory management goals.
• Coach and develop a team in balancing productivity, quality and customer service.
