Job summary

The Operations Team Lead I - 2nd Shift will oversee daily warehouse tasks, ensure safe and accurate workflows, and coach staff to meet performance targets while maintaining clear communication across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of warehouse/distribution experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and WMS systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and peak-period overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and adjust labor to meet operational targets.
• Monitor workflow, address bottlenecks, and ensure timely completion.
• Train and coach associates to maintain high performance.
• Enforce safety policies and proper equipment use.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and maintain documentation.
• Serve as communication point between associates, supervisors, and routing teams.
• Generate required reports and escalate issues when needed.
