Job summary

LT Apparel Group, a New York-based family-owned company, is seeking an Operations Team Lead I - 2nd Shift to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency while supporting workflow and training staff.

You will assign tasks, monitor workflow, and enforce safety policies, while verifying shipments and maintaining documentation. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse/distribution experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and WMS systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and peak-period overtime as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks and adjust labor to meet operational targets.
• Monitor workflow, address bottlenecks, and ensure timely completion.
• Train and coach associates to maintain high performance.
• Enforce safety policies and proper equipment use.
• Verify accuracy of shipments and maintain documentation.
• Serve as communication point between associates, supervisors, and routing teams.
• Generate required reports and elevate issues when needed.
