Job summary

Home Chef is hiring a Warehouse Associate on the 2nd shift in Bedford Park, IL. The role runs from 4:00pm to 1:00am with Tuesdays and Thursdays off, supporting receiving, replenishing, and shipping operations to ensure timely, safe delivery of produce and packaged goods.

You will help with FIFO storage, equipment operation, and collaboration with FSQA and production teams, while maintaining safety, quality, and organization across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent (GED).
• Willing to learn how to operate equipment needed to perform all warehouse duties including manual and electric pallet jack and handheld scanners.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and store incoming produce and packaged goods.
• Ensure FIFO storage and correct temperature storage for items.
• Load trailers with pallets and apply safety measures (glad hand locks, wheel chocks).
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas and assist production as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and GMPs during all tasks.
