Job summary

National Tube Supply is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the Hammond, IN area. The 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) offers a base rate of $17.00/hr with a $1.25 shift differential.

The role requires handling steel products, identifying materials, and processing orders in our fast-paced facility. Ideal candidates will have 1 year of industrial experience and be prepared to undergo a hair follicle drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of steel or industrial experience.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, reach trucks, saws and front-end loaders.
• Post-off Hair Follicle Drug Screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Properly identify materials.
• Fill out paperwork.
• Follow directions on paperwork, special instructions, and from supervisors.
• Safely handle, move, stack, and load material.
• Measure/verify material to BOL, Packing List, Job Traveler, Load Manifest.
• Operate general warehouse equipment: air grinder, banding, razor knife.
• Operate automated saw cutting material equipment.
• Process orders into computer software.
