Job summary

Chicago Tube and Iron Company is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift in Saint Paul, MN. You will operate saws and other equipment to cut, process, package, and prepare material for shipment, moving steel with forklifts and cranes, loading trucks, and verifying incoming materials.

Join CTI to support a safety‑driven team focused on on‑time delivery, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Training provided; physical work with lifting up to 50 pounds and standing all shift is required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or fabrication experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience reading blueprints or shop drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operating saws and other equipment to cut, process, package, and prepare material for shipment
• Safely operating forklifts, Raymond side loaders, and overhead cranes to move steel throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading trucks using material handling equipment
• Pulling, staging, and assembling customer orders
• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Working closely with your team to meet daily production and shipping goals
