Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–9:45 PM) to support steel and aluminum bar, tubing, and plate distribution.

You will pull, fill, cut orders, maintain inventory, and perform shipping tasks within a metal distribution environment. Responsibilities include basic equipment operation, reading job orders, verifying material, and ensuring safety and order in the warehouse.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehousing or material handling experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Clear oral and written communication; legible handwriting.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory, fill orders, pull material from racks, and load/unload.
• Receive and place items into stock locations.
• Read and decipher work orders; verify heat numbers and material specs.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, yard trucks and other heavy equipment as required.
• Place materials into storage and prepare items for order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
