Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply in Hammond, IN is hiring a Warehouse Associate for 3rd shift. Starting at 9pm, position is full-time and pays $19-$21 per hour, with a $3 per hour shift differential bringing the range to $22-$24 per hour.

The role focuses on accurate receiving, picking, and shipping of materials with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. Candidates should have at least one year of warehouse experience and be able to operate standard warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive merchandise, match shipments to purchase orders.
• Pick, pack, and load customer orders for delivery.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and report variances.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, shrink wrap).
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
