Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) to support metals processing and distribution. You will move, stock, and prepare orders, operate forklifts, side loaders, order pickers, cranes, and band saws, and keep the warehouse safe and organized.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and ability to learn quickly, work in a team, and read calipers/tapes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum.
• Ability to quickly learn multiple functions in a complex industry.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of operating industrial equipment, Band Saws preferred.
• Ability to read measuring equipment such as calipers and measuring tapes.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks and/or customer vehicles, & helping maintain the upkeep of the warehouse.
• Receive, place/return items into stock inventory locations.
• Pull and assemble orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation.
• Tag material for proper identification and complete all required documentation.
• Move material from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Operate Forklifts, Side Loaders, and Order pickers for loading/unloading racks, trailers and containers.
