Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the 2nd shift in Bedford Park, IL. The role leads associates in receiving, issuing to production, and shipping, ensuring accuracy and safety. You will train staff, manage daily task lists, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain flow.

Key duties include overseeing dock activities, using Netsuite and WMS, and maintaining inventory records. The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year warehouse leadership experience in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have at least 1 year warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory.
• Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word to execute transactions and enter counts/corrections required.
• Ability to use handheld data logging equipment required.
• Previous leadership experience in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving dock activities and ensure accuracy and dock maintenance.
• Train team on standard procedures and ensure safe, timely work.
• Manage progress against daily task lists and delegate tasks.
• Lead outbound shipping by coordinating activities and verifying documentation.
• Provide inventory data for decisions and conduct cycle counts.
• Foster teamwork and ensure a safety-first environment.
