Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with Wednesdays and Saturdays off. You will handle receiving, replenishment, shipping, and general warehouse duties, ensuring proper storage, FIFO, and quality throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, forklift/pallet jack operation, SAB and FSQA support, and keeping areas clean and organized. The role emphasizes safety, GMP adherence, and teamwork in a production warehouse.

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent, GED or High School diploma required.
• Willing to learn how to operate equipment including pallet jack and handheld scanners.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store incoming goods according to FIFO and correct storage locations.
• Assist with pallet breakdown, QA checks, and moving goods to storage areas.
• Prepare pallets for shipping, seal trailers, and document loads as directed.
• Support other warehouse functions as needed to meet customer deadlines.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and GMPs across all tasks.
