Job summary

Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift (4 PM–12:30 AM) with Mondays and Tuesdays off. You will handle receiving, replenishing, and shipping duties to keep production flowing while upholding safety and GMP standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, operating pallet jacks and handheld scanners, and a willingness to learn. Prior warehouse experience is preferred and a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely.
• Willing to learn to operate manual and electric pallet jacks and scanners.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
• Commitment to safety procedures and GMPs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload goods from trailers and place items into correct storage according to FIFO.
• Support production by stocking materials and ensuring areas are organized before shifts.
• Check trailers for trash; apply seals and prepare pallets for loading.
• Assist with shipping: load pallets per load diagram and confirm paperwork with leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned storage areas and equipment.
