Job summary

DP World Middletown II is hiring a Warehouse Lead for 2nd shift to oversee daily operations, ensure procedures are followed, and drive KPIs. You will mentor staff, coordinate workflow with other departments, and back up the supervisor when needed.

Ideal candidates have prior lead experience, forklift operation skills, and a background in logistics or manufacturing. This role offers opportunities to grow within a growing international organization and supports a dynamic warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED.
• Experience in a Lead role.
• Experience in a Logistics or Manufacturing environment.
• Prior forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efficient operation of the department and ensure procedures are documented and followed.
• Assist with monitoring daily KPI’s, Quality Metrics, employee timecard exceptions & productivity administration is completed accurately and on time.
• Provide back up and support to the Supervisor and to represent him/her fully in periods of absence (sickness, holiday, business meetings, etc.) when required.
• Liaison with all operational departments to ensure smooth work flow & maximum synergy.
• Provide leadership to staff by establishing clear expectations and acting as a role model and assist with planning, overseeing and participating in the warehouse operations and activities.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.
