Job summary

SanMar is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate daily workflow in our Avondale warehouse. You will deploy resources to meet production schedules and help our distribution centers operate smoothly.

Shift: Monday–Friday 12:30PM–9:00PM. Pay: $18.75 + $1.00 shift differential = $19.75. You’ll monitor restock, estimate completion times, coach coworkers, and collaborate with other teams. Requires a high school diploma and 4–6 years warehouse experience, with lift operation certification possible.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4-6 years warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKUs.
• Basic math skills for counting and quantity.
• Willingness to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to learn internal operating systems and RF units.

Responsibilities

• Monitor volume of restock and orders to assign tasks to warehouse staff.
• Estimate time to complete jobs based on schedules.
• Communicate with leadership to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train and coach employees on guidelines and safety.
• Interact with other business units to meet goals.
• Adapt priorities and manage multiple tasks.
• Complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Inspect equipment daily and manage checkout/return.
• Operate powered lift equipment if required.
