Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division seeks an onsite Value Stream Manager (2nd Shift) for our Greenwood, SC facility. The role drives lean manufacturing, oversees supervisors and shop floor resources, and leads continuous improvement initiatives in a 3:00pm–1:00am schedule, Monday–Thursday.

Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates nationwide. Annual salary range is $113,000–$165,000 with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, assembly, fabrication, and/or related facility environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience directly managing and leading employees in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for supervisors and shop floor employees ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across all processes.
• Champion implementation of lean activities to eliminate waste opportunities of key processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process change and technology upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet productivity scheduling goals.
• Analyze operations data, key metrics, identifying improvement opportunities and executing action plans.
• Align demand forecasts with capacity plans to ensure optimal schedule execution and resource utilization.
• Achieve key BOS metrics including TRCR, Productive Utilization, On-Time Delivery, First Pass Yield and DPPM.
• Effective management of plant assets through leadership of maintenance and facilities resources.
• Champion implementation of MESH to achieve improvement in year over year safety performance measures.
• Train and develop team members as well as providing oversight and coaching to other team members.
• Develop staffing strategies and foster employee engagement, accountability, and a high-performance culture.
