Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Ramsey, MN is seeking an Upholsterer on 2nd shift to prepare and install upholstery materials including wood, foam and fabric.

You will lay out, cut and assemble components, operate a vinyl oven and staple gun, perform quality checks, and label and stage finished pads for production, with a competitive wage and full benefits.

Eligible for a $2.00/hour shift differential on 2nd shift and a comprehensive benefits package with 401(k), health, dental and more.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate staple gun, heat gun, vinyl cutter and hand tools.
• Ability to operate computer to run label maker.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (read and understand).

Responsibilities

• Layout and cut materials; operate cutting machine.
• Stage materials for jobs per work order.
• Use oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling.
• Staple vinyl to pad using staple gun.
• Assemble pieces following established procedures; attach backing and punch holes.
• Batch finished pads by work order and place in appropriate area.
• Box pads as needed; make labels using computer and label maker.
• Check work for quality; operate vinyl picker and pallet jack.
