Job summary

Life Fitness in the United States is seeking an Upholstery Technician to prepare and install upholstery materials, including wood, foam and vinyl, on our production lines.

You will lay out and cut materials, operate cutting and vinyl prep tools, assemble parts, label items, and ensure quality. The role includes overtime eligibility, a $2.00 per hour shift differential for certain hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Layout materials, cut materials; operate cutting machine.
• Stage materials for jobs per work order.
• Use oven to prepare vinyl prior to stapling.
• Staple vinyl to pad using staple gun.
• Assemble pieces following established procedures; attach backing and punch holes.
• Batch finished pads by work order and place in appropriate area.
• Box pads as needed.
• Make labels using computer and label maker.
• Check work for quality.
• Operate vinyl picker and pallet jack.
