QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator in Neenah, WI to join our manufacturing team. The role involves TIG welding and fabricating metal components per blueprints and work instructions. Candidates should read weld symbols and perform quality inspections in a fast-paced shop environment.

Wage ranges from $24.00 to $35.00 per hour on 2nd shift (4:00pm - 2:30am). Applicants must pass a welding test and have a High School Diploma or GED. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with TIG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Ability to pass welding test.
• Ability to read measuring devices (calipers, tape, etc).
• Experience in a job shop environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on metal components according to drawings and specs.
• Fabricate and assemble parts from blueprints and work orders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and drawings.
• Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely.
• Conduct visual weld inspections and verify weld quality.
• Perform and document quality checks per procedures.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts.
