Responsibilities

• Perform Precision Welding: TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications for medical, packaging, and printing components.
• Interpret Engineering Blueprints: Analyze prints and weld symbols to ensure fit-up accuracy.
• Dial In Equipment: Set up welding machines, shielding gas, and heat parameters to ISO 9001 standards.
• Layout & Fit-Up: Measure and align sheet metal and structural components prior to welding.
• Material Handling & Rigging: Use cranes and forklifts to position large weldments in the shop.
• Collaborate & Optimize: Work with a team to resolve design challenges and improve runs.
