Job summary

Total Talent Resources and QFS is seeking a Fabrication Welder I for the 2nd shift in Carol Stream, IL. This role uses MIG welding and fabrication to build and assemble machine frames and components, with duties including reading blueprints, performing quality inspections, and preparing equipment for shipping to customers.

The position offers hourly pay of $21.00–$23.00 with overtime at higher rates, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• MIG welding or fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, or willingness to learn.
• Experience with shop equipment, forklifts, or cranes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld and fabricate machine components and frames
• Build industrial equipment such as ovens, tanks, guards, and catwalks
• Grind and finish completed products
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Install components into machine assemblies
• Assist with machine teardown, painting, and shipping preparation
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
