Job summary

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, is a global compounder of custom engineered thermoplastics. The position sets up and operates thermoplastic extrusion equipment to blend, mix, package, and transport materials for customer products.

This role covers 2nd shift (3-11pm, M-F) with overtime including weekends, and requires adherence to ISO standards and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment and follow safe procedures.
Must operate and monitor equipment during production for quality.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for an 8-hour shift.
Read and follow manuals and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Dependable with excellent attendance.
Willing to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
Work in temperature extremes – hot and cold.
Must pass forklift test and a respirator fit test.
Must read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to procedures.
Weigh ingredients and ensure correct materials are delivered to the work area.
Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
Transfer samples to the lab for evaluation and adjust batches as needed.
Package finished materials into containers or bags.
Document logs, data reports, and procedures.
Participate in training and continuous improvement processes.
Follow safety rules and maintain a clean workspace.
Perform other duties as assigned.
