The State of Ohio's Tiffin Developmental Center is seeking a Therapeutic Program Worker to assist residents with daily living skills and to help them gain independence. This direct care role supports individuals in activities of daily living during an evening shift at the Tiffin site.

You will perform tasks including eating and personal care assistance, active treatment activities, planning and shopping support, and detailed documentation while adhering to center policies and ADA guidelines.

Formación

• Direct care support for residents to improve daily living skills.
• Assist with eating, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and communication.
• Support planning and shopping activities such as vocational skills, hair appointments.
• Complete daily and monthly documentation; report unusual incidents or reactions to medication.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with eating, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and grooming.
• Implement active treatment activities (gym, pavilion, activity room, pool).
• Assist with planning and shopping activities (shopping, vocational skills, hair appointments).
• Complete daily and monthly documentation; report incidents or medication reactions.
• Perform light housekeeping in living areas.
• Redirect unsafe actions to achieve positive outcomes.
