Responsibilities:
- Lead teams across multiple departments, empowering them to make a difference.
- Set a great example by creating an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product displays.
- Source local products to create a farmer's market feel.
- Plan, write, and communicate store schedules.
- Establish clear standards for daily and hourly store conditions.
- Drive key metrics including sales, margin, inventory, net profit, customer satisfaction, and safety.
- Foster open communication within the team to improve customer experience and store performance.
- Develop the store’s community presence through products, events, and relationships, empowering team members.
- Work flexibly to assume responsibilities for team members or assistant store managers when needed.
- Ensure product freshness by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
- Stay informed about competitive trends and analyze competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
Qualifications:
- Passion for customer service.
- 2-3 years of retail experience preferred.
- Creative thinking skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly and gain customer confidence.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products.
- Experience in planning and executing strategies.
- Proven track record of developing teams to meet service, presentation, sales, and margin goals.
- Experience in inventory control, including cycle and period inventories.
