Location: EAST PLANT, 2nd Shift

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Train and provide an environment for employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.
2. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to optimize departmental policies and procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and employee satisfaction.
3. Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback.
4. Promote goodwill through proactive employee communication and involvement.
5. Collaborate with other departments to investigate quality improvements, cost reductions, method improvements, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions.
6. Promote safety throughout the work area.

Basic Skills & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in the poultry or food industry.
• Leadership experience managing 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field preferred.
