EAST PLANT 2nd Shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train and create an environment where employees can achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective roles.
- Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize departmental resources effectively and efficiently, adhering to safety, quality, and company standards.
- Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback.
- Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, process enhancement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions.
- Ensure safety is promoted throughout the work area.
BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- One or more years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in poultry or food industry.
- Leadership experience with teams of 20 or more employees.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED; college degree in a related field preferred.
