ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train and create an environment where employees can achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective roles.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize departmental resources effectively and efficiently, adhering to safety, quality, and company standards.
• Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback.
• Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, process enhancement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions.
• Ensure safety is promoted throughout the work area.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in poultry or food industry.
• Leadership experience with teams of 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma/GED; college degree in a related field preferred.
