Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Montpelier, IN, is seeking a Tapping Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) with training on the 1st shift. Base pay is $22.60 per hour plus a 5% shift differential. The role requires the ability to operate machines, perform gauging, and record data, with overtime as needed.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of our team located in Montpelier, IN.

• Starts machine and observes operation, making adjustments as needed.
• Gauging and checking parts for each catch pan, for conformance to specifications.
• Record and plot on SPC charts
• Record production on daily sheet
• Operate PIV and electric pallet jack to move tubs and load machines
• Must be able to work overtime
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Ability to lift and/or carry 5-25 pounds regularly and occasionally 25-65 pounds with assistance .
