Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is hiring a Batcher for the 2nd shift in Louisville, KY. You will prepare and mix ingredients to produce syrup while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires learning batching equipment operation, accurate records, and collaboration with the production team to keep lines running smoothly. Starting pay is $24.13 per hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and willingness to learn about how processing equipment works. Mechanical understanding and food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn to operate a forklift safely around pedestrians.
• Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
• Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software.
• Basic mathematical skills to make production calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times.
• Understand and help drive improvements to quality systems and policies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices, and HACCP).
• Collaborate with production team members to maintain continuous flow of syrup to the lines.
• Mix and blend ingredients to create various batches.
• Learn to safely and efficiently operate batching equipment including set up, operation, and sanitization.
• Ensure food safety through quality checks and accurate record keeping.
• Inventory and control ingredients and receive sugar.
• Generate productivity and continuous improvement ideas.
