Job summary

Venture is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Manager for 2nd shift (Noon–9:00 PM) in Michigan. You will oversee the flow of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain, ensuring timely, accurate operations and strong communication with carriers, suppliers, and customers.

You will plan loads, manage schedules, maintain Venture TMS data, and generate KPI reports. Requires 5+ years in logistics and a related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or 3 years industry experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years in logistics/transport/supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Weekly/daily load planning for upcoming week using Venture TMS.
• Coordinate with carriers for weekly schedules and changes.
• Update Venture TMS and carrier check calls daily.
• Maintain customer portal and ensure EDI data flow.
• Produce customer reports and KPIs as requested.
• Monitor routes and alert customers about delays.
• Support AMs for customer meetings with data.
