Venture Logistics, LLC in Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations (SCO) Manager to oversee the flow of goods, materials, and information across our network. The role requires strong organization and communication skills to ensure logistics operations run smoothly and on time.

Responsibilities include weekly/daily load planning in Venture TMS, coordinating with carriers and docks, updating schedules, and providing customer reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 3 years of industry experience.
• 5+ years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weekly/daily load planning in Venture TMS based on customer demand.
• Coordinate with carriers for upcoming week schedule.
• Adjust published schedule based on customer changes needed.
• Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and docks for schedule changes.
• Maintain Venture TMS (ALMS and 3G) up to date with carrier check calls.
• Own management of carriers in Venture TMS.
• Manage customer portal as required.
• Ensure EDI updates flow to customer TMS.
• Manual updates to customer portal when required.
