Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Inc. (CLI) seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead shipping/receiving, VAA, and WMS/MES/HRS systems in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate across departments, drive continuous improvements with cross-functional teams, and mentor staff through on-the-job training while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Position is 2nd shift in Texas, requiring strong communication, multitasking, and a proactive, self-starting approach.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of operations leadership experience within Automotive, 3PL, or heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Third Party VAA Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk/Small Lot Metering.
• 3+ years leading/directing hourly personnel.
• Ability to train others on processes, work instructions, and procedures.
• Work flexible and overtime hours as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervising shipping and receiving systems via local and customer WMS.
• Supervising Value-Added Assembly (VAA) personnel and equipment.
• Monitoring operation of VAA equipment and systems.
• Managing and monitoring WMS, MES and HRIS systems.
• Coordinating activities with other departments including transportation.
• Managing local and corporate QMS programs.
• Ensuring plant cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Assisting with planning plant improvements and expansions.
• Participating in cross-functional problem-solving teams to drive continuous improvement.
• On-the-job training and staff development.
