Job summary

Maine Oxy-Acetylene Supply Company is seeking a Second Shift Production Supervisor to oversee nightly plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You will manage the night crew, review load lists for Class A Trucks, and participate in daily production meetings to drive efficiency.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Night shift supervision experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated safety and regulatory compliance focus.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and MSDS.
• Strong multitasking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the night shift in production, including reviews, disciplinary actions, and training.
• Uphold plant safety procedures and enforce policies.
• Help develop processes to increase productivity and quality.
• Review and sign off on nightly load lists for Class A Trucks.

$25/hour + $1/hour shift differential | Overtime available | Full-TimePosition Summary:The Second Shift Production Supervisor will oversee all daily night operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage night shift in production including reviews, disciplinary actions, and training.Commit to plant safety procedures.Help develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performanceReview and sign off on nightly load lists for all Class A TrucksAssist with daily production meetingsPerforms other related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Safety must be the first priority.Experience supervising people preferred.Demonstrated ability to multi-task, and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.Good understanding of regulatory requirements for operating plants.Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures, and other company and industry documents.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software.Education:High School diploma or equivalent;Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheetsPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
